Jerri Rettig, age 60, of North Caldwell, New Jersey passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023. She is the loving daughter of Mona Berger and David Rettig; sister of Cindy and Jeff Rettig; and step sister of Stuart and Stephen Slotnick. Jerri was cherished and loved by all those who had the great honor of her friendship.
Jerri was a graduate of Montclair State University and went on to become a highly successful and respected Wall Street executive recruiter. She was an avid NJ Devils fan, well known by both fans and management of the organization. As a 30+ year season ticket holder, Jerri enthusiastically supported her team, and wrote blogs regarding the Devil's success.
Jerri's love, generosity, kindness and quick wit will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. May she rest in peace and light up Heaven.
A funeral service for Jerri will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, New Jersey 07039. Following the service burial will take place at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, 189 Gill Lane, Iselin NJ 08830.
