Pamela Mandel, 74, passed away on Saturday, October 28, at 2:00pm, from complications arising from a brain aneurysm. Friends and relatives may call at 1 Metzger Drive in West Orange, NJ on Monday between 5:00-9:00pm.
Pam is survived by her husband Jeff, sister Roz, sons Ross and Matt, daughter-in-law Aimee, and grandsons Michael, Luca, and Bodhi.
Originally from Ellwood City, PA, Pam was an attorney for thirty-five years. She focused her practice on matrimonial law and representing professionals who appeared before their professional boards.
Pam was a lifelong fan of the NY Yankees, Brooklyn (née NJ) Nets, and the US Open in Queens. Her additional passions included summer trips to Montauk, theater evenings in New York, tennis on Sundays, Don’s pizza burgers, and Gruning’s peach ice cream. However, nothing compared to the joy she derived from time with her family--from her many trips abroad with Jeff and visits with her sister Roz, to Sunday family dinners with Ross and Matt, to nights of Thai food and bingo with Luca and Bodhi.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ACLU of New Jersey.
