After hearing of Paul's passing, I want to extend my deepest condolences to Nancy, Jacob, David and the entire family. I will remember Paul as an extremely kind, loving and dedicated person who always offered guidance and concern. I will remember him always with much love.

Please accept our deepest sympathies on the loss of Paul.  I first met Paul in his capacity as a criminal defense attorney.  He tried several cases in front of me, including some capital murder cases.  Paul proved himself to be an accomplished trial lawyer who worked tirelessly and effectively for his clients.  I always felt that the bravest and noblest thing any lawyer could ever do in a courtroom, when the entire might of the  Government is lined up against him and his client is facing death, is to stand up and utter the words:  "My name is Paul Feinberg,
and I represent the Defendant".
Paul later became my friend and I came to learn that in addition to being an accomplished lawyer, he was a fine person--a real Mensch. His loss is of course felt most deeply by his family, loved ones and close friends, but also by the many, many others whom he helped and for whom he made a real difference.

I am so sorry to hear of Paul's passing.  He will truly be missed in the courthouses of this State, as he was gifted trial attorney and a good man.  My deepest sympathy goes out to your family.

I was sad to learn that Paul has left us.  The Feinberg, Newman, and Cohen families  enjoyed many summers together at Lake Hopatacong.   We enjoyed uncomplicated childhood times. Together we learned to swim, played whiffle ball, fished all day of a pier, and played catch with  our fathers.  Just  wonderful  memories with Paul.  I  have known Paul in many ways since age 7 and he was a kind, decent, and honorable human being.   I  will plant a tree in Israel to grow and live forever in his honor and memory.  Goodbye my childhood friend.

Paul and I met as students in 1970 on the Campus of Rutgers University, Livingston College. Our political views bonded us during those anti-Vietnam War protest days. I learned to measure the political assessments of the day from Paul. He was my mentor, and was very animated and opinionated. From his obit, I see he transferred those ideas into action very well as an attorney. While being attentive to his studies, Paul was always alert to current events – pouring over the NY Times daily. Through my discussions with him during those years, Paul “raised my consciousness” as we said in those days. He was a friend who profoundly affected me for life. I was so fortunate to have known him, and send my sincere condolences to his family.

May Peace be with Paul and his family at this sorrowful time. He was always professional and a great man. I will miss him at the courthouse.

Paul was one of my first and best friends on Rutgers Street. My deepest sympathy to his entire family. He fought for the underdog. My prayers go out to his sisters.
