

Born in Castelnuovo Di’ Conza, Provincia di Salerno, Italy, on July 23, 1935, to parents, Theobaldo and Angelina (Annicchiarico) Greco.
She was lovingly known as “Rosie” or “Rosetta” She immigrated to the United States at age 2 and spent her life in Newark, NJ. Rosemarie was deeply devoted to her family and her faith, exemplifying love, compassion, and strength throughout her life.
Predeceased by her husband, Pasquale Giannetta Sr., and several family members. She raised her four children with grace and unwavering faith. Her passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of her family and friends. She lived her life with a deep sense of purpose, touching many lives with her kindness, generosity, and beautiful spirit. As she always said, “Love has no age, no limit, and no death.”
Rosemarie worked at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) for 25 years, where she made many lasting connections and contributed to the university's community.
A devout Catholic, Rosemarie was known for her involvement in St. Michael’s Church, where she participated in the Rosary Society and attended Mass regularly & her devotion to Saint Gerard at Saint Lucy’s Church.
She is survived by her children: Arnold, his wife Maria, and daughter Gemma; Pasquale, his wife Alice, and daughter Janelle, and Tommy; Angela and her partner Maureen; Michael, his wife Donna, and sons Michael and Joseph; her brother Louie; her companion Joe and many extended family members and friends. Her love, faith, and dedication will forever be cherished by all who knew her.
A Visitation for Rosemarie will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at LaMonica Memorial Home, 145 East Mount Pleasant Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039. A Funeral Mass will occur Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, 172 Broadway, Newark, NJ 07104.
