Ruth G. Lipsky, 94, formerly of Livingston, died Saturday, March 25th, 2023 at home in Sarasota. Private services will be held for the immediate family and burial will be at Mt. Lebanon cemetery in Iselin, NJ on April 3rd, 2023. Arrangements by Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel of Livingston (973) 422-0600.
Raised in Newark, Mrs. Lipsky lived in Hillside, Livingston, and Convent Station before moving to Sarasota, FL. She was a graduate of Weequahic High School class of 1946. Mrs. Lipsky worked as a court stenographer many years ago and left to be a full-time homemaker. She went on to study and achieve her Bat Mitzvah when she was 67 and volunteered at the Morris Museum.
Mrs. Lipsky is predeceased by her husband Abraham, her brother Henry, and sisters Anne and Rose. She is survived by her son Tod; her daughter Robin and husband Walter Fitzroy; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Jason, Mikayla and Nick and 4 great grandchildren Zavin, Zanaya, Emma and Alina.
A graveside service for Ruth will be held Monday, April 3, 2023 at 11:30 AM at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, 189 Gill Lane, Woodbridge, New Jersey.
