Shannon ran like the wind from her earliest years and exceled in track and soccer. She had a gift for writing, her writer voice showing a maturity beyond her years. Shannon was an artist who created wonderful whimsical portraits and sculptures.
Shannon was an animal lover. There was always a new pet joining the family. Her dog, guinea pig and fish will serve as fond reminders of Shannon.
She had a strong sense of right and wrong and would never be swayed an inch from her beliefs. Shannon possessed a strong spirit and spunk. She would ski down the fastest slopes, drive a motorboat in wicked fast turns and ride the tallest roller coasters..smiling the entire time.
We will also remember Shannon for her caring and courage. Even during her darkest hours, she would not hesitate to offer help and words of encouragement to others.
Shannon left the world much too soon. She had so much to give to the world. We will miss her terribly.
