

Anne-Marie was born in Marshall, Michigan on November 9, 1965, to Richard Holt and Vonnerie Wood. She graduated from Marshall High School, Class of 1984. She went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Central Michigan University in 1987. In 1991, she completed her Master of Business Administration at Central Michigan University.
Anne-Marie began her career at Dow Chemical in Midland, Michigan. While working at Dow, she met the love of her life, Dan Batten, and the two married in 1994. Anne-Marie resided in many places throughout her life including Osceola, Indiana; Farmington Hills, Michigan; Jenison, Michigan; and most recently Ridgefield, Connecticut. Anne-Marie considered Farmington Hills her home as an adult after raising her children there from 1999 to 2013.
Anne-Marie enjoyed reading, hiking, and spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her innate kindness, quick wit, and the love and understanding she extended to all who knew her.
Anne-Marie is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Dan Batten; children, Courtney (Derek) Lucassian, Andrea Batten, and Brett Batten; father, Richard Holt; stepfather, William (Bill) Attleberger; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Vonnerie Wood; brother, Steven Holt; sister, Marla (Holt) Rodriguez; and nephew, Alexander Holt.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 10:00am-12:00pm at Harry J Will Funeral Homes, 37000 Six Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48152. Funeral service to follow at 12:00pm.
