Beloved wife of the late John Frank Winters Jr., Barbara was the devoted mother of Laura (Mark) Moyer and Melinda (Marty) Seitzinger. She was a proud grandmother to Jacob Moyer, Lucas Moyer, Christopher Seitzinger, and Nathan Seitzinger, whose lives were brightened by her love and warmth.
She will also be dearly missed by her siblings Steve (Carol) Krall, Kathleen Douglas, Robert Krall, Linda Krall, and Janice Hana, as well as by many cherished nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Elizabeth Krall, and her siblings, Mary Markes, Andrew Krall, and Betty Heise.
Barbara had a kind and joyful spirit. She loved spending time on the water sailing, dancing to her favorite music, and showing compassion to every animal that crossed her path. She enjoyed traveling, and her adventurous spirit led her to many places around the world. Her love for theater and the arts made her a longtime member of the Fisher Theater, and she found daily joy in walking—it was truly a way of life for her.
A visitation will take place on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan. A sharing of memories will begin at 7:00 p.m.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 39020 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan. The gathering period will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by the service at 10:00 a.m.
Interment will take place at Glen Eden Memorial Park, 35667 Eight Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, at 1:00 p.m on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alliance of Therapy Dogs or the Detroit Institute of Arts.
