I am a former employee at the Church Brent attended, Fort Street Presbyterian Church. Brent was so nice and easy going. He had a great spirit. The first time he walked into the building he came eager to interact and help with the church. I'm so sad to hear of his passing. I just learned of it this morning. He was a sweet spirit. My condolences to his loved ones. My prayers are with you all. 

Brent was one of a kind.  He was nice to everyone, and always ready to have fun.   We grew up together, and my memories with him are countless.   We played street hockey and peewee hockey together, we were buddies in English class at CC, and I will never forget Brents graduation party.  People like Brent are impossible to forget, they leave an everlasting positive impression.  I will always remember the great times we had growing up.  Rest in peace buddy, please watch over us. Plenty of wonderful memories that Brent was a part of,  and of course it involved hockey.  Those were the days let me tell you.  A great hockey team called the Farmington Hills Fire and the Rogin family was a big part if it.  I will forever remember what a great time we all had together.  It breaks my heart to hear of Brent's passing.  I just can't imagine how difficult it must be to endure this kind of loss. 
Rest in peace Brent.  And to John and the rest of the Rogin family,  please accept my sincerest and heart  felt condolences.

We didn’t really stay in touch after high school, but I always had fond memories of you. I remember sitting in English class, and you kept on asking me the answers to the questions. You made me laugh. I am sorry for your family’s loss.  You were a bright star. And the world seems a little dimmer without you in it. Rest In Peace. 

Brett was one of the kindest and most genuine people I've ever been friends with, he just wanted everyone to be happy and doing well. He always made the extra effort to stay in touch, which attributes to his character and loving nature. 

From hockey tournaments to late night trips to Game Works and Steak N' Shake, he was one of my closest friends growing up. 

We lost a great man, friend, family member. Rest In Peace, Brett.

First of all- I probably wouldn't have passed middle school math if it hadn't been for you. You always made things make sense. You were so patient and funny and never, ever, ever made me feel lesser than for not being as smart as you. And you, my friend, were so. dang. smart...you had a brilliant mind. You had kindness, a special way of talking to someone that makes them feel like they were the most important person on the planet. You gave the BEST hugs. You were a gift to all who loved you. Rest easy my friend. 

John, Sandy, Johnny- there are no words except for I'm sorry.  I love you, I love you, I love you. 

We are truly saddened to hear this news.  Brent did and always will hold a special place in our hearts.  So many fond memories.....I look next door and can still see him and Andrew swimming, riding thier big wheels, playing hockey in the driveway, or the many other things that they alway did together.   Andrew was blessed to have him as his very first best friend.

Brent, I’ll miss you man. I’ve always cherished the times where our paths have crossed.  I miss the days back in grade school where we would skate and bike all over Farmington, hanging out with friends, pulling increasingly elaborate pranks on each other.  You consistently carried a positive energy with you, and I hold onto those memories tightly.   My thoughts go out to the Rogin family.   It was a privilege to call my Brent my friend.

Brent was my little brother Josiah’s friend. Whenever Josiah had friends over, Brent was part of the crew. I remember seeing “Rogin” on the old home phone caller ID. He called often. As I’ve hung out with my brother in adulthood, Brent was still always around and we would always talk. I didn’t know him like they did, but I was fond of him. He was a very straight shooter. Intelligent, you could tell. My condolences to the family, I can’t imagine your painful loss and may God bless you and comfort your family.

To the Rogin family— I’m deeply saddened to learn of the devastating loss of your dear son/brother. Holding you close in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time. 

I remember so well when Brent was born! It was such exciting news for his big brother Johnny to deliver to the neighbor kids.  There are no words to express to John, Johnny and all the Rogin family the sympathy and love  we feel for you all at this difficult time.  Celebrate and treasure the good times you had.together.  May he Rest In Peace.  

Brent was truly one of kind. His personality and energy could light up an entire room. I could talk forever about all the great memories I have with him. Basically any childhood memory I have... Brent was there. Growing up next door, we were more than best friends, we were brothers. Our bond was special, and we talked about as recently as a few weeks ago. This loss leaves a huge hole in my heart and he will never be forgotten. I love you Brent!  
To the entire Rogin family, I know how much this hurts. Time is the only thing that will ease this pain. Just know that Brent’s love and positivity will shine on forever! I love you guys!


I remember the young man coming into the barbershop very nice well spoken ! I enjoyed our talks while cutting his hair ! It has been awhile since I’ve seen him ! R.I.P.  Condolences to the whole family !

My son David reminds me and without that, I remember what fun Brent was. Unending circulating energy with an underlying deep friendship. 
We are fortunate to have known him but unfortunately for such a short time.

To Mr. Rogin, Johnny and the entire Rogin family my heart aches for you.  

Brent truly made everyone who met him feel welcomed, he was easy to talk to and kindness radiated off of him. It never mattered if it had been weeks or years between seeing Brent, as soon as I seen him he always greeted me the same way, with a hug and that huge smile.  He will be missed.

How could I possibly just choose one memory? Instead of that, I’m going to share how Brent made us feel. How he lit up a room. How infectious his laugh really was. How he’d give you the shirt off his back, and how often he actually did that. How lucky we were to have Brent in our lives.  Brent, I love you. Luke loved you. I hope you both are hanging out and watching over all of us. To the Rogin family, thank you. I’m incredibly heartbroken but we will see them all again. If you hold something in your heart, it is never truly gone. 

To the Rogin family. I love you all. I am so sorry for your loss. I am always here if you need anything. 

Brent, you were more than a friend to me, you basically a brother. Our experiences together were a life time of memories. From living together, to going to shows, to just playing poker, I loved every minute our friendship. You always made things interesting. I love and miss you. Till I see you again!
