Brian, 47, unexpectedly passed away in his sleep on Friday, March 30, 2018. He was born November 4, 1970 to Bill Noble Coleman and the late, Margaret Ann Coleman. He is survived by his younger brother James Coleman (Pamela) and his amazing and vibrant 97 year-old grandma (Gigi). While attending Eastern Michigan University, he met many of his life-long friends. Brian married Jeannine in 2002 followed by the birth of their two beautiful daughters, Samantha Margaret Coleman (12) and Annika Noble Coleman (8). Brian lived most of his life in Michigan and spent some time in Ohio, Indiana, New York, Texas, and Nevada. But Michigan was always his home and love. A true GO BLUE fan.
There was nothing dull about Brian and his presence was always known as his personality lit up the room and made everyone feel special. Talented, gifted, hysterical, kind-hearted, selfless, devoted, tenacious, and an outstanding athlete. But most of all, he was amazing father, husband, son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. He loved his girls with all his heart. Whether it was coaching Annika’s basketball, taking her on hikes, or his countless hours of golf with Samantha since the age of 3, it was Brian’s calling to be a dad.
A time of gathering for sharing stories and celebrating his life will be held from 3-9 pm on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the Harry J Will Funeral Home, 37000 6 Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152. The funeral service will be held 10 am on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church, 200 East Main Street, Northville, MI 48167.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Samantha and Annika Coleman Education Fund (write check to Jeannine Kunz and an education trust will be set-up in their names) or the Sarcoma Foundation of America, curesarcoma.org, in memory of his father in law.
We will always carry his memory in our hearts and honor him by leaving our lives to the fullest.
