Sorry to hear about   Dr. Creed’s passing. He was my oldest son’s Pediatrician  in 1976. I received a referral to him as the best Pediatrician in the area. When I took my son to his appointments, I soon learned why. He was intelligent, friendly, smart, and had a persona of his own and really knew how to  capture my son’s  attention  and keep him settled down during  our visit, as my son was going through the terrible two’s .  ( He is now 46 yrs old). This was something I never forgot about him. He was the best Pediatrician  and wish he could have been the Pediatrician for my other two children. And  by his services, he made such a  great impact  on my life.  RIP. My Blessings and Condolences to the family. 


Wow! Dr.. Ward Sr. was our Pediatrician until 1988. Dr. Ward Jr. was my children's Pediatrician and my Eldest Brother Samuel William Murphy (1949 -1972) took his physical exam for the Army with the Father.  You'll be missed Sir! Love and Light! 

Dr. Ward was my pediatrician.  I remember him and his Father at  St. Lukes hospital. It was mid to late 70's.   I can re-call a "young" Dr. Ward Jr.   I have a memory like an elephant and I can remember him walking into the room. He was a vibrant soul.   He and his father were great physicians.

Although I was a classmate of Creed at Harvard and a roommate our Sophomore and Junior years, I have not seen him since graduation.  However, I have fond memories of him from our years together at college and we kept up through annual Christmas greetings.  We called Creed  "Nick" at school and I never knew the derivation of that name.  He was an extremely friendly person and I am thoroughly grateful to him for introducing me to a love of Classical music.  He came equipped with a wonderful stereo system on which he had classical records almost 24 hours a day.  He would stand in the center of the room taking the position of the conductor.  He even got me to join him, though I had not listened to such music much previously.  He prompted me to take a music course at Harvard and throughout my life since because of Creed I have enjoyed many, many concerts by the Minnesota Symphony Orchestra.  I am eternally grateful to him for that introduction to fine music.  I came from Minnesota and he from Ohio and I was an enthusiastic skier and skater.  I could not even convince him to go with me and others we both knew on weekend or vacation trips to Vermont, New Hampshire, or Maine.  He said it was too cold.  Later in life, I heard that he became an extremely successful and enthusiastic skier.  Alas, a fine person lost, but what fine memories family, friends, patients, and schoolmates enjoy - for me, a wonderful man to have spent two years as a roommate.

There aren't enough words to describe how much Dr. Ward Jr. meant to my family. His Dad was my pediatrician in the 60s, and when Jr. joined the practice I was a young teenager struggling with a borderline eating disorder and depression. He recognized the signs and suggested a therapist who helped me throughout my life. 
When I started my family, he was my children's pediatrician. I grieved when our insurance changed and we had to leave his practice. That's just a small fraction of the importance and impact Dr Ward had on our lives. Rest well young man💜💕💙
