Born in Coldwater, Michigan on July 22, 1975 and died in Ann Arbor, Michigan on November 30, 2018. He is survived by his daughter, Natalie Sherson-Firavich; his fiancée, JoAnne Dumont; his mother, Deborah Dallmann and step-father, Paul Dallmann; father, Steve Firavich and step-mother, Carol Firavich; and his former step-father, Steven Sparks. His surviving brothers are Kyle Sparks, Brandon Sparks, Garin Ellis, and Andrew Ellis. His grandfather, Stanley Firavich predeceases him, as well as his grandmother and grandfather, Florence and Larry Williams. His surviving grandmother is Barbara Firavich. His surviving uncles and aunts are Scott Firavich, Jeffrey Firavich (Jackie), Cyndi Armstrong, Joan Smart, Marianne Churchill, Frank Dawe (Dorothy), and Judy Dawe. He is survived by several cousins: Bradley Armstrong, Thomas Firavich, Hannah Rose Firavich, Doug (Jennifer) Dawe, and Rebecca (Ross) Dickinson. His niece and nephews are Jenna Ellis, Curtis Ellis and Ross Ellis. Eric had many special friends, including Ryan Parsons and David and Rachel Adler.
Eric loved the outdoors: skateboarding, skiing, golfing and camping. He loved to cook, grilling steaks and cooking meals for others. He was a very organized person with a knack for fashion and loved technology and the latest gadgets. He loved music: Doo Wop, oldies and Beastie Boys and enjoyed going to concerts. Eric loved Star Wars and would laugh hysterically with David and Ryan as they said lines from the movies. He was an excellent writer, speaker and listener. He loved learning and was an avid reader. Eric was very talented with his hands and enjoyed doing construction and making things beautiful for others. One of Eric’s passions was barbering. He had wanted to have his own shop one day, naming it Hairapy; combining hair cutting with therapy. Eric’s desire was to help others by what he had experienced and learned. Eric loved his daughter, Natalie, and his family very much. He loved making friends and was fiercely loyal to his friends. He loved dogs, especially Mandy, his Black lab. He was a true fighter. Eric was loved and he will be missed greatly by his family and many friends. Eric, we pray you are now resting in peace.
