

Estela Cristina Drabicki (nee Grabczynski) of Livonia, MI passed away peacefully at her home at the age of 70 on Sunday November 3, 2024. Estela was born on August 31, 1954 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and came to the United States when she was 3 years old. She was raised in Detroit, MI where she met the love of her life and beloved husband, Dennis. They were married on May 18, 1974 and celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this year.
Estela cherished being an amazing and dedicated wife, mother and grammy!
She played a very dynamic role in her daughters’ and granddaughters’ lives, and often volunteered at her children’s schools, attended countless sporting events, and was an active member of the Catholic Church, teaching catechism classes and leading other administrative duties.
Estela’s many exceptional talents included cooking, baking, sewing, and crafting.
Estela loved playing golf and mahjong with her family and friends, and she enjoyed spending the winter months at her home in Naples, FL.
Estela is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Dennis, her daughters Kristen (Michael) Cayen and Maureen Drabicki, granddaughters Morgan and Taylor Cayen, and dog Lily. Estela was preceded in death by her mother Helena Grabczynski Walas, father Felix Grabczynski, step-father Walter Walas, and brother Richard Grabczynski.
Estela will be missed dearly by her loved ones and forever remembered as a loving, generous and caring woman.
A visitation will be held at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home on Thursday November 7, 2024 from 2PM-8PM with rosary at 7pm. The funeral mass will be on Friday November 8, 2024 at 11AM at St. Colette Church (in-state at 10:30AM). Interment at St. Hedwig Cemetery.
