Evelyn Lorraine Larson, age 91, of Livonia, Michigan passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022. Evelyn was born December 24, 1930 , in Detroit, MI, to Magnus Hansen and Anna (Jensen) Hansen. A first-generation U.S. citizen of Danish heritage, she was a wonderful mother of 3 and grandmother of 4. On April 1, 2022, Jesus called her home.
She is survived by her two loving daughters Cynthia Larson-Kour (son-in-law Leon Kour), Christina Musilli (Larson) (son-in-law Albert Musilli) and her devoted son Eric Larson. She has 4 beautiful grandchildren; Mikayla Kour, Brandon Kour, Anna Musilli and Maria Musilli. She is also survived by her loving niece Natalie Hansen and her sister-in-law Karen Hansen. She was preceded in death by her loving late husband Kenneth Larson and dear brother Norman Gordon Hansen and their parents.
Evelyn grew up in Detroit, MI, graduating from Cooley High School, and later attended a Business College. She worked briefly as a secretary for Ford before meeting the love of her life at a Lutheran Club. She married Kenneth Larson on February 21, 1959. She was a loving and devoted mother of three children. She often spent her spare time gardening and pursuing Art. She also enjoyed collecting Dolls and antiques. She had a passion for Travel and inspired many family trips.
A visitation for Evelyn will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Harry J Will Funeral Homes, 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152, followed by a funeral service at 5:00 PM. Visitation also after the service until 7:00 pm.
