Gabriel Joseph Jolly, our beloved son, brother, and grandson. Gabe is amazingly loved and cherished by his family and community, in his short life he was able to meet his parents and siblings and be baptized. He was born into this world and into heaven on February 27, 2022 which is the feast day of St. Gabriel of Our Lady of Sorrows. The purpose and meaning of his short life will live on in those who loved him forever.
Gabe was diagnosed at 20 weeks gestation with Trisomy 18 and fought hard as he exceeded medical expectations. He and his family benefitted from many prayers and experienced many miracles during the pregnancy and in his short life including the answering of the family's prayer that he and his siblings be able to meet in this life. We are thankful to Our Lord Jesus Christ and to the nurses, doctors, social workers, and chaplains at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak who made Gabe's time with his family possible.
He is survived by his mom and dad Katie and Jim Jolly, sisters Lexie and Claire, brother JD, and grandparents Pamela and David Repp and Sue and Jim Jolly.
Donations can be made in Gabe's name to the Livonia Goodfellows to support Christmas wishes of local families.
