

Gary Morrow, 66, of Detroit, Michigan, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2026. He was born on September 29, 1959, in Detroit, where he spent much of his life building meaningful relationships and a legacy of kindness and service.
Gary was the president of City Transfer Company who took great pride in operating the business. Through hard work and determination, he created not only a livelihood but a reflection of his character, dedicated, dependable, and generous.
A devoted member of the Moose Lodge, Gary was an active and familiar presence. He was especially known for preparing the lodge’s steak dinners, a role he embraced with pride and care. Beyond the kitchen, he gave his time freely, working and supporting numerous charity events. His commitment to helping others was constant and heartfelt.
Gary will be remembered as the ultimate caregiver, someone who showed up without hesitation for the people in his life. He was kind, generous, and had an unmistakably big heart. Whether through a helping hand or his daily phone calls to check in on loved ones,
Gary made sure those around him felt supported and cared for.
He is survived by his loving children, Monica (Robert) Offerman, Amy Croft-King and Donald Croft; and his cherished grandchildren, Amanda (Troy), Sarah (Mathhew), Jonathan, Kayleigh, Ethan, Jacob, Abel, Mady, Genevieve, and Lorelei. He is also survived by his sister, Kelly (Darell) Leroy, and his niece, Victoria.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Mildred Huff, his wife Sandra Croft, and his uncle, Gary Staten.
Gary’s warmth, generosity, and unwavering presence in the lives of others will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
