George Gilbert Mills, Sr. passed away October 17, 2021 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Rosemary for 61 years. Loving father of George G. Mills Jr., Joseph J. Mills, and Jeanine K. (Timothy) Heising. Cherished grandfather of Brianna R. Ynclan, George G. Mills III, Richard J. Mills, Cherrilynn (Mathew) Balkema, Madelaine Heising, and great grandfather to Mason, Mckenzie and Miranda Balkema.
George is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was a very kind and generous man who enjoyed his cigars, an occasional cocktail, and to banter with friends and family.
A Visitation for George will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 10am until the Funeral Service that will begin at 11am, at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 Six Mile Road in Livonia. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen, Detroit.
