James M. Gromek

James Michael Gromek passed away peacefully on Monday, February 7, 2022, with family at his bedside. He will be remembered for his joy of cooking at the barbeque and his dedication to his family. James was a loving father to his three children: Michael (Fred) Gromek, Karyn (Jim) Reynolds, and Sheri Blandford; proud "Jajew" to his four grandchildren: Jordan Blandford, Maddy Reynolds, Jake Reynolds, and Austin Blandford; caring brother to his siblings: Ed (Cathy) Gromek, Bob (Kathy) Gromek, Mary (Steve) Hale, and Susie (Craig) Montie. We are all comforted that he is now reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife, Anita, and his late parents, Ed & Mary Jane Gromek.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the Harry J Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Road in Livonia, MI from 11am-5pm with the Holy Rosary at 2pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Saint Aidan's Catholic Church, 17500 Farmington Road in Livonia, Ml at 9:30am.

We would like to express our deep gratitude to the staff at Marycrest Independent/Assisted Living Senior Community in Livonia MI for their friendship, support, and care for James.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial condolences be made in his name to Angela Hospice in Livonia MI.
