Jason,
Forced into our lives just days before your birthday, a new state, new friends, new beginning for you. Me cherishing your brother Steve’s friendship and despite the height difference  I took you “under my wing” on a walk to the store. 

Sharing a jager bomb on the walk back, I knew this was a long lasting friendship.(boob slip) Many nights spent discussing anything from your love of Detroit sports, softball highlights , hot pockets, pizza delivery, bud vs bud light, girls bottoms, your love of Nokia flip phones and more serious topics like how you thought it was okay to keep score while playing yourself in dice, how you told me you never once cheated while I explained you can’t really cheat if your playing yourself (notebook proof).. I still don’t know if I’m right or wrong.

And the fact that your “remembered” specific moments down to the minute when people said or did certain things...

What I do know I am right about,  is the fact that i know you never cheated yourself , you wouldn’t cheat anyone else. People say “I’d give someone the shirt off my back” , jason , you lived that. I’ve seen you give your last $3 hard earned dollars to someone that looked like they fell in hard times, grossly over tip the pizza delivery guy (who you somehow conned into doing your cig and grocery shopping) and most anyone you came across felt your generosity (probably to a fault).

And you had your flaws,,, who pulls their socks up that high? I love and miss you already, the smile and laughter at my ((sometimes)) “ off color” jokes, willingness for a late night conversation over a couple hundred dice rolls at your coffee table, your caring aura and ease to speak your mind. You will be missed.

Rest easy my freeiend.


I can only say what a kind and polite guy Jason was. My heart is sad for his loved ones. 

Jason was a friend of mine since we first met at Grant elementary about 30 years ago . We had a lot of great times together . Jason was a kind soul a great person to talk to and always available when I needed a friend. We played on the same softball team together , worked many of side jobs together and I was honored to be at his 40th birthday party with him Danny and all our friends . My heart goes out to Steven , Danny and the entire Anderson family . Jason came to my fathers funeral in March and cried for me when I was to lost to do so my self . Love you Jason and I’ll always miss you .
