 To the Khollman family my Heart goes out to you. When I heard this news, first I cried then my mind was flooded with fond memories of our youth growing up on Denice. Digging holes in our front yards for football tees., riding around the neighborhood on our bikes getting up baseball teams , polliwog hunting. So many great memories.  Rest in Peace my friend.

Jeff was a big part of my childhood.  He started a nickname that I still have today.   Nay Nay.   He hung out with my brothers and I think he even babysat me at least once when his sisters couldn’t!  As a kid he was always so sweet to me and didn’t treat me like the annoying little “sister”.  He loved kids and they loved him.  As we grow and move away to start different lives we sometimes lose touch with the people who were a part of that growing process but they never leave our memory or our hearts.  RIP Jeff.  Sending love and prayers to your family. 

Our families were quite close when we were young and Jeff made many trips up to our cottage with us. He was a big part of many childhood memories. 
Jeff will forever be enshrined in Marshall Jr. High history as the creator (or the one who used it most) of the “Jeff Khollman Trail”. Jeff was constantly rubbing the football coaches the wrong way so Mr. Knick and Mr. Natkowski used to make Jeff bear crawl up and down the sidelines of the Marshall field. After so much use by Jeff, it only made sense to name it after him..

Jeff was a good friend to me.  He was always there when I needed him, always, never a hesitation.
I remember when my cat was sick and I had to take him to the vet to be put down.  I knocked on his front door for him to come with me.  He said let me put my pants on first.  Really.  :)  He had quite a sense of humor.
He was there for me and my dad when my mom passed and then for me when my dad passed.  I thanked God for him.  I only hope I was there for him when he needed me.
I will miss us working on projects together and I will miss him on the projects we had planned.  Now I will do them alone but I know he will be watching over me to make sure I do them right!  
I will miss our conversations about when we were growing up, looking at old pictures and just hanging out.
I miss and love you Jeff.  I know you are with your family and God now and with my mom and dad.  I will see you and my family again.  Forever your friend.
