There is only one way to describe John that is he was one of a kind. When it came to work nobody worked harder from start to finish. He had no problem sharing his knowledge to anybody that came in contact with him. those that had the chance to work with him were truly blessed. John also knew when it was time to have a good time after work. I consider myself lucky to know him.

John was one of the Best People I have ever had the Pleasure to work with & Spend time with he was the Hardest worker I have ever worked with. I consider my self Very Lucky to have Known Him I will miss Him

It was always nice to watch the way Uncle Jack interacted with his family, not only with his Millie Lou, Karen, Janette, Deanna and all their families, but also with the families of his sisters, Johanna and Midge. When not traveling, he used to come and see his mother every evening. What a nice model for the generations to follow and, certainly, a gift to all of us. Deepest sympathy to his family and friends; happy memories to all of us.

I met John a few weeks after joining Holcroft Canada Dec. 1971.
I worked and travelled with John in Canada, USA, Korea and Russia our Friendship will remain our bond Forever. John was always a Gentleman & Loved his Family.
I am so thankful that I was able to spend precious time with our Dear Friend a few days before he passed. As always we reministed the Memories of Years gone bye, all seemed to have happened just Yesterday. John's mind was very sound & as always he was as strong as a Ox, as he squeezed the breath out of me as we said our last Farewell to each other.
To John's Family, know this ...John was Loved, Liked and Respected by numerous Persons through-out the World. I never heard of or knew of anyone who did not Like John.
Kudo,s to " His Girls " ( as John often affectionately referred to his 3 Daughters ) and all of their Families for being there for him 24- 7.
John was able to pass in Peace and Comfort of his home with Dignity knowing he was surrounded by his Family.

Jack is my father Frank Knes cousin, and dad will miss him very much as will I. Jack was always funny and a joy to be around. He had an incredible ability to make you smile when he entered a room. 
To his family I am so sorry for your lost.

Cousin Jack was my father Marvin Dunajski's cousin. My father always talked about Jack and how talented he was.They were very close throughout their lives and Jack meant the world to my dad. I could never be able to thank him  enough for all the love and compassion he gave to our family. May you rest in peace Jack and be with your love of your life. "your Millie.... Our family will miss you very much. May god bless and be with all of his family.

I first met John in Russia in the early 90's.  He showed me there how to boil and filter the water to make it drinkable.  The beer and vodka didn't need the same treatment.
After the merger of our two companies, John offered me many quiet words of encouragement.  He was a gentleman, and  I will miss him.

John was one of the nicest individuals I have ever met. Always a gentleman and always had a smile on his face. He worked so hard and loved his family and friends. God Bless all of his family, as he will be missed, but now he is in heaven dancing with Millie.

John was one of my very best friends. I met John when I started with Holcroft in early 1970 and since that time John & I worked and travelled together on "many" Furnace Projects in the USA, Canada and China.
I can count my friends like John on one hand. Friends like that just don't come along often. Over the years Anne & I got to know Millie as well. I will miss John. I was fortunate to have known him and call him my friend!!!!
