Joseph Louis McDonald born October 29, 1945 to the late James and Margaret McDonald, passed away at the age of 72 on August 30, 2018. Loving dad of Susan Sarkisian, Todd McDonald and Rebecca (Brad) Bienko. Proud papa to Dylan Hancock and his favorite English Bulldog Stella. Joseph will be missed by many family members and close friends.
He will be remembered as a man who enjoyed helping others, like filling in for Santa around Christmas time for children in need. Joseph was a dedicated member of the Brighton Masonic Lodge for many years. His grandson could attest to his favorite line being “I’ll give you a fat lip in the eye”. Joseph was a devoted catholic who always carried his rosary with him at all times.
A memorial gathering for Joseph will be held Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Harry J Will Funeral Homes, 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152. Following the memorial gathering will be a memorial service at 4:00 PM.
