Judy lived a life filled with love, family, friendship, and adventure. While out with friends, she met the love of her life, Russell Masura. The two were married on July 25, 1970, beginning a beautiful partnership that lasted 53 wonderful years until Russell’s passing on July 6, 2023. Together, they built a strong, joyful life; one defined by hard work and devotion to family.
Judy and Russ owned and operated Dearborn Lithograph Inc., a successful sheetfed printing company they ran side-by-side for over forty years. All of their children (and future son-in-law, Robb) had an opportunity to work there. Their hard work built a nationally acknowledged business, and a lasting legacy in the media industry.
Judy and Russ owned a lake house where family and friends spent countless vacations, weekends and holidays creating lifelong memories.
Judy loved to travel, whether setting out on an unforgettable Alaska cruise, or exploring destinations near and far, including Saugatuck, Chicago, Hawaii, Minnesota’s Mall of America, countless other cruises and many other family getaways.
A woman with an eye for beauty, Judy loved taking care of her home and creating warm, welcoming spaces for all who entered. She also had a passion for shopping. Her family and friends often referred to her as a fashionista. Everyone anticipated Judy arriving to any event dressed to the nines.
Judy’s love and appreciation for music and dance transitioned through the decades. As a fan of the Everly Brothers, Rolling Stones and Bee Gees - a song from Donna Summer, Cher or Pink would bring her to her feet and onto the dance floor, with or without a partner.
Judy found deep friendship and fun within her social groups, the Red Hat Society, the Crimson Cuties, and the Bunko Babes, affectionately known as the “BBs.” The laughter and friendship she shared with these women were treasured parts of her life.
Above all, Judy adored her grandchildren. Time spent with them was her greatest joy, and her love will forever be a guiding light in their lives.
Judy is survived by her loving children: Mike (Carol) Masura, Robin (Carl) Fecteau, and Marshan (Robert) Taylor; and her cherished grandchildren: Jessica Fecteau, Jackson Taylor, Jaylyn Masura, and Brady Taylor.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Denton and Clarissa Bettens; her sister, Sandy Bettens; and her devoted husband, Russell Masura.
A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152.
