She was the beloved mother of Courteney Brown. Loving daughter of Phyllis Werner and step-daughter of Bill Huppenbauer. Dear sister of Lori Fagan and Jill (Tom) Hanson. Stepsister of Julie Woochuk and Jill Huppenbauer.

Karyn was an active volunteer for several charities such as, Horses Haven, Gleaners Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity and The Detroit Zoo.

The family will receive friends for a Memorial Gathering from 11am-12pm and Memorial Service to begin at Noon on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at:
