

Kevin Lee Myrold, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and passionate architect, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2024, at the age of 65. Born on June 21, 1959, in Detroit, Michigan, Kevin's life was marked by a deep love for his family, an unwavering dedication to his profession, and a joyful spirit that brought laughter to everyone who knew him.
Kevin married his high school sweetheart, Debbie, on August 22, 1980, and together they built a life full of love and adventure, celebrating nearly 50 years of companionship and marriage. Their union was blessed with two wonderful children, Adam (Christina) Myrold and Erica (Joey) Grover, who, along with their spouses, brought immense joy to Kevin’s life. He was also a grandfather to two beloved grandsons, Cameron Myrold and Alexander Grover.
As an architect, Kevin poured his heart and soul into his work, leaving behind a legacy of creativity and craftsmanship. His passion for design was rivaled only by his love for adventure. Kevin enjoyed skiing in the majestic mountains out west, cruising through the serene waters of the Caribbean, and exploring various states including Florida, California, and Colorado. He was also an avid golfer, often found perfecting his swing on the green.
Despite the challenges of his illness, Kevin maintained his remarkable sense of humor until the very end, bringing smiles and laughter to those around him.
Kevin is survived by his devoted wife Debbie, beloved children, Adam (Christina) Myrold and Erica (Joey) Grover; his adored grandchildren, Cameron Myrold and Alexander Grover; his siblings, Karen Myrold, Kathy (Dan) Mikol, Russell Edelen; and his sister-in-law, Joyce Myrold. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Cecile Myrold, and his brother, Kris Myrold.
A memorial gathering to honor Kevin’s life will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Harry J Will Funeral Homes, located at 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152. A memorial service will follow at 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, in hopes of advancing research and support for others facing this challenging illness.
Kevin will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
