Leland Charles Blaim, born September 2, 1934, passed January 20, 2018. Beloved husband of Irene for 63 wonderful years. Loving father of Leland Jr., Douglas (Margie), and Barbara. Cherished his 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren plus 1 on the way. Loving Father of the late Michael and Suzanne.
Served for the Detroit Police Department from 1956-1981. Following his retirement from the police department, Leland worked for Bostford Hospital as a Security Supervisor until his second retirement in 1994. A honored Master Mason for over 45 years and member/Pilgrim of the Michigan Moose Association, Northville Lodge 1190 for over 30 years.
Visitation Wednesday, January 24, from 12-8pm, with a Masonic ceremony at 6pm, and a Pilgrim Moose Ceremony at 7pm, at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd, Livonia. Visitation continues, Thursday, January 25 at 11am until the funeral service beginning at 2pm.
