

Marguerite Laurence Bailey, age 77, died peacefully at home September 10, 2014, after a long illness. She was born December 28, 1936 to Laurence and Marguerite Kolb in Detroit, Michigan. She attended Immaculata High School. Marge worked for GM for a short period of time before she was married. She then stayed home and raised her three daughters. Marge was an avid animal lover. She is predeceased by her loving husband Philip Francis, her father Laurence Kolb, her mother Marguerite Kolb, her step-mother Myrna Kolb and her cousin Sharon Leach. Survivors include her loving daughters, Barbara (Andrew) Becker, Lizabeth (Thomas) Thompson and Jill (Michael) Liedel; her grandchildren Andy (Nicole), Megan, Jamie, Paul and Kelsey; her great grandsons James and Westin.; sister-in-laws Kathy (Jim) Everidge, Janice (Phil) Lavallee, and brother-in-law Richard (Donna) Bailey; and many nieces and nephews. She will be truly missed.
Visitation will take place at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 West Six Mile Rd in Livonia on Sunday September 14 from 3:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service Monday September 15 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery following the service.
In lieu of flowers, mom’s personal request was to make a donation to Michigan Anti-Cruelty or the Michigan Humane Society.
