Mary Faith Tedd

Mary Faith Tedd was born in DeTour Village, Michigan on September 11, 1933 and passed away peacefully on March 23, 2022. Beloved wife of Albert, for 62 wonderful years. Proud mother of Russell (Karen) Tedd and Lisa (Lou) Maceratini. Cherished grandmother of Mia (Chris) Carlson, Megan (Grant) Fall, Nicole Tedd, Ryan Tedd. Dear great grandmother of four. Dearest sister of Wanda (late Charles) Fountain, Mary’s twin Martha (late Jack) Tassier, the late Mae (Kenneth) Samford, Frances Bock, Donald McAdam, Eris (Pete) Camacho, Margie (Rudy) Lipski and Wally McAdam.

Mary and Al were married in 1957 and went on to raise their two children. Mary drove Russ and Lisa to many activities. She took Russell to baseball and football practice, boy scouts and guitar practice. She was a “skating mom” and Scout Leader for Lisa. Mary regularly cared for her grandchildren as they grew. Mary was involved in Masonic/Shriner activities through the Daughters of the Nile and Ladies of the Oriental Shrine. Mary served the Lord through Kirk of our Savior Presbyterian Church in Westland. Mary will be deeply missed by many family and friends.

Visitation and service will be held on Monday March 28, 2022. Visitation for immediate family will begin at 10:00 am, and for family and friends from 10:30 – 12:00 noon. The service will begin at noon. Donations may be made to Kirk of Our Savior Church in Westland, Michigan. Please note the church currently requires face masks.

Mary will be laid to rest in Glen Eden Lutheran Memorial Park, 35667 Eight Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152.
