Just wanted to share a fun story about meeting my aunt (Moira, but she asked us to call her Lori ) for the first time.  I was eight or nine years old.  When my Uncle Bob brought his new friend to meet our family,  she was so beautiful I thought Grace Kelly had walked into our home!  I even remember what she was wearing.  It was a pale yellow shirt-waist dress that was perfect with her blonde hair and blue eyes.  I thought, "I want to look and dress like that when I grow up." 
Years later when I told her about that first intro, she laughed and said, "You have no idea how nervous I was!"  
Bottom line:  Love you, Lori.

I had the honor of taking care of her in the last year of her life. She was a beautiful and strong woman. She taught me more in a year that I could of ever taught her.  One memory I remember is of her showing me baby pictures of her kids. Her eyes lite up and she was so proud to show them off. She was a loving mother. I will miss her but im happy she got her wishes. 💜

I am sorry to hear about Aunt Lori’s passing. When I was very young, I remember spending time on the Penticton Okanagan beaches with our family and hers along with grandparents. I also remember spending time at our parent’s friends the Abbotts. After moving to eastern Canada and then the USA we didn’t see them very often but we did keep in touch through phone calls, letters, and email. I have recently found a photo of Lori and her kids as well as my brother Mike and sister Diane. I believe that I was taking the picture. It was during a visit to our home in West Vancouver.
About 10 years ago I started working on the family history and I went to see Lori at her home in Livonia just before covid arrived to catch up see cousins and get some additional information for the family tree.
I am so glad that I did. We exchanged information, I did the cooking and she asked for a few recipes and it was great as long as we avoided politics.
I always remember references to her as the peach queen and a talented artist.

Mrs. Wilson was a beautiful lady. I loved seeing Mr. Wilson and her together at their home.  Jeff and I would be hanging out in the kitchen and the two of them in the living room enjoying a cocktail. I always told Jeff “your parents are so cool “. She is at peace now and with her beloved husband, son and son-in-law. Her legacy lives on in her two Amazing daughters Nancy and Julie and granddaughters Nicole & McKenzie. Nancy Sending hugs & kisses to you and your family❤️

Nancy and Julie, my deepest prayers and sympathies are with you. I will forever cherish growing up in Rosedale and all our crazy days and I can see your mom ( as well as mine) rolling her eyes and chuckle under her breath at all our silly times together. I can picture her now, standing at the top of the stairs telling us to get outside and play. Her infectious smile and always, her kind demeanor. She's now in peace and will forever be in my heart.

My deepest condolences at the loss of your mother. She was a wonderful lady. I was the next door neighbor and friend to her son, Jeff.  Now she is at peace with her husband and her son.

I am so grateful we were able to honor my mother’s wishes of being in her own home when she passed . My sister Julie has been amazing taking on everything that needed to be for the past couple  of years while I was working. We also were able to find an amazing team of caregivers to look after her . I was able to spend some time with her the day before she passed going through pictures with her which she enjoyed. You are no longer in pain and up in heaven with Dad Jeff and David . I love you mom and will miss you but we will meet again.. I know it ❤️

We go way back to grade school days at Vetal. Julie and I were classmates and hung out. It was an honor when I was asked to be a caregiver for your Mom almost 2 years ago. I will cherish the time we spent together. She was a wonderful lady. May your memories give you comfort and peace. She is no longer in pain. I took care of Lori for long time I was Lori’s caregiver  . Lori was family to me I will miss Lori so much . I miss Lori every day she is gone I loved Lori . My condolences to Julie and Nancy sincerely Mary Jo
