Nehad Mary Bannoura

Nehad Mary Bannoura, age 55, of Farmington Hills, was received into the arms of our Lord on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, with her loving family surrounding her. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Dalal Bannoura; her two brothers and their spouses: Amad (Manal) Bannoura, Riad (Etaf) Bannoura; nephews and nieces: Matthew (Amanda) Bannoura, Michael (Nadine) Bannoura, Majdi Bannoura, Jonathan Bannoura, and Angela Bannoura; and great-nephews and nieces: Dominic, Mila, Lillian, and Dylan.

Nehad was born September 2, 1969, Flint, Michigan, the daughter of the Late Mr. Michael Bannoura, and Mrs. Dalal (Awad) Bannoura. Nehad lived her life for God, and her devotion to her faith was fulfillment in life. She was a devoted member of the congregation at The Basilica of St. Mary for many years, and also spent much of her free time volunteering with Northridge Church in Plymouth. Nehad had a great love for her family. Nehad’s nieces and nephews, and their children held an extra special place in her heart.

Nehad was preceded in death by her father, Michael Bannoura; her grandparents: Nakhla and Aziza Bannoura, and Khoury Saba and Aziza Awad.

Nehad's family will receive visitors from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 5, 2024, with a Trisagion Service taking place at 7:30 pm, at The Basilica of St. Mary, 18100 Merriman Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152. A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, September 6, 2024, at The Basilica of St Mary, with In-State from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. A burial will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia.
