Richard E. Zabell passed away October 30, 2016 at the age of 85. Loving husband of Charlotte for 64 years. Beloved father of Karen (Jack) Motz and Denise (Brian) Patterson. Cherished grandfather of Stephanie (Andrew) Wolber, Laura (Peter) Shannon, Andrea (James) Hill, and John Motz. Dear great-grandfather of Leo Shannon and Luke Wolber. Richard was a proud veteran of the US Army and during the Korean War drove a tank on the front lines. He owned and operated his business as a painting contractor for over 40 years which allowed him to support and raise a loving family.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, November 3 at 11am (gathering begins at 10:30am) at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church 133 Orchard in Northville. Memorials can be made to Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.
