

Rosalia was a woman of great intelligence and deep faith. She graduated at the top of her class. She later earned a degree in chemical engineering at graduated from Mapua institute of Technology where she met the love of her life, Augusto Vinuya. The two were united in marriage in May of 1970 and celebrated a second marriage ceremony in June of the same year.
Rosalia was a professor at Manuel L Quezon (MLQ) university. Rosalia worked as a chemical engineer for many years, dedicating her career to meaningful work, including a major project in Michigan focused on preventing lead contamination in water systems.
Faith played a central role in Rosalia’s life. She was a devoted member of Ward Church since 1979, where she pioneered Filipino Bible studies in 1992. She also served as the head of the English as a Second Language (ESL) registration program for foreign students at the church and was a strong supporter of mission trips around the world. She was a former officer of the Filipino American Association. In addition, she was a professor of Chemical Engineering at MLQ in the Philippines for 7 years and was an officer of the Filipino Technological Society of Michigan upon her arrival to the United States.
Whatever Rosalia committed herself to, whether in her career, her faith, or her community, she gave her heart and soul. Her dedication and hardworking nature left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
Rosalia had a love for travel and exploring beaches across the globe. She was an avid reader and embraced life with curiosity and purpose.
She leaves behind her loving and devoted husband, Augusto; her sons Aristotle and Alexander; and daughter in law Nipa; and grandchildren, Sarina and Nihar. She is also survived by her siblings Zenaida (Fernando), Sylvia (Alfredo), Cynthia, Naomi (Rodney) and Carmen ; and many beloved in-laws: Leonisa, Bernardo (Elizabeth), Lourdes, Anicia, Jose (Corina), Mauricio (Daisy), Gio (Marlene), Honorata (Raul), Paz, Myrna, and Nenita.
In addition to her parents, Rosalia was preceded in death by her siblings Antonio and Edgar, and in-laws Antonio, Andres, Julio, and Pedro.
Rosalia will be deeply missed by her family, her church, and all those whose lives were touched by her grace, strength, and unwavering faith.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harry J. Will Funeral Home. A service will take place at 3:00 PM, with visitation resuming afterward.
