Sandra Lee Meyer

Sandra was a loving and devoted mother and Nana who loved and cared deeply for her family. Throughout her life, she faced many health challenges with fierce determination, strength, and a positive attitude, rarely complaining and inspiring those around her.

Sandra enjoyed spending time reading, doing puzzles, playing board games, crosswords, and word searches. She was known for her remarkable memory and her ability to remember the birthdays of family and friends.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Anna Piltz; her brother, Robert Piltz Jr.; and her former husband, Robert Meyer.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Andrea Meyer Carter; her son-in-law, John C. Carter; her granddaughters, Evelyn and Leah Carter; her sister, Pamela Sirko; and her nephew, Shawn Sirko, and his family.

She will be remembered with love by her family and all who knew her. Her strength, devotion, and love remain a lasting blessing to those closest to her.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 11:00 am at St. Colette Catholic Church in Livonia, Michigan. Visitation will be held prior to Mass at 10:30 am at the church. A short graveside service will take place later that afternoon at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery at 2:30 pm.
