Sharon Grenier

Sharon Grenier, age 84, of Livonia, Michigan passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024. Beloved mother Jim, Dawn, and Mark Grenier. Proud grandmother of Sydney, Avery, Jack, and Ben. Dear sister of Norma (Dave) Donaldson. Also loved by many nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by loving husband of 56 years, Jimmy, parents George and Florence Adair, and brother George Adair.

Sharon spent ten plus years working at Livonia Public Schools in the Community Education Department. She was a 1957 graduate of Cody High School in Detroit.

Sharon enjoyed traveling the United States and Canada with her husband and kids in their Apache pop-up camper. Sharon and Jim continued their travels to Europe, Mexico, and the Caribbean's. She shared her love through cooking and baking for others. Sharon was a lifelong avid reader of romance, Irish history, and mystery novels. She also took an interest in her family genealogy, doing her own research into her French and Irish family trees. Sharon maintained many lifelong friendships, she was a loyal and caring friend to many.

Contributions in her memory may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association or Angela Hospice.

A memorial gathering will be held Friday, April 5, from 4:00-8:00pm at Harry J Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd., Livonia, MI 48152, with a sharing of memories at 7:00pm. Friends and family will continue to gather Saturday, April 6, at 10:00am at St Michael the Archangel, 11441 Hubbard, Livonia, MI 48150, followed by a memorial mass beginning at 10:30am.
