She is gone from our lives, but will live in our hearts forever. The Lord took this beautiful woman too soon. Sharon was the devoted wife to Sam Zain who never left her side truly embodying the marital vows “in sickness and in health.” Their marriage was one to idolize as they loved, laughed, lived and celebrated their three children. Sharon was the most loving and selfless mother to her three children, AJ, Doug (Susan) Zain and Marla Skeltis. Her children all know what it means to be loved unconditionally as a result of being blessed to have Sharon as their mother.
In addition to her husband Sam and three children, Sharon leaves behind her granddaughter Roxy Marie Skeltis. Sharon also leaves behind nieces and nephews Lori (Jeffrey) Champe, Shari (Rodger) Pollesch, Rick Newman and Brad (Tiffany) Sadowski. Sharon also leaves behind grandnephews and nieces Scott (Brittany) Newman, Sarah (Zahid) Vahora, Emily Heddon, Eric Champe and Alex Champe. She adored all of them and enjoyed spending as much time as she could with each and every one of them.
Sharon had a fighting spirit that was unparalleled. She had more than nine lives. She was the toughest, most unrelenting woman and nobody stood a chance in a fight with Sharon. Her fighting spirit will live on forever. Sharon will be remembered for that strong fighting spirit and her bright smile. Sharon’s smile had a way of turning the worst of days into the best of days.
Sharon will also be remembered for her antics at Target where she routinely tried to exchange her makeup “her way” without going to Customer Service. She will also be remembered for driving with her thumbs tapping to musical beats on the steering wheel while she was careening down the highway at 85 plus miles per hour.
Sharon touched the lives of every single person with whom she ever had contact. Sharon Ann Zain was beautiful inside and out and undeniably one of a kind. Sharon is now in heaven surrounded by love with her sister Beverly Ventro, her father Albert Ventro, her mother Marguerite Scheibner, her four-legged son Penzie Zain and her four-legged grandson Diesel Jackson Skeltis. Sharon continues to live on in the hearts and souls of those who survive her.
