Terry Jolene Freeman

Terry Jolene Freeman was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 16, 1947 to Odis and Christell Bennett. She was one of three children. Jolene passed away peacefully in Livonia, Michigan on October 19, 2023 at the age of 76 under the gentle care of Angela Hospice.

Jolene was the beloved wife of the late Daniel for 54 years until he passed in 2022. Loving mother of Todd (Stacy) Freeman and Karen Bonadeo. Dear grandma of Andrew, Maggie, Benjamin and Eli, and predeceased by her brothers Jim and Rick Bennett.

Jolene was a wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and follower of Jesus. A servant to all around her, she never put herself in front of others, but instead dedicated her time to quietly bringing a smile to those around her, through a fresh batch of cookies, a phone call, a birthday card, a meal with friends, or simply her presence.

Jolene was a fixture at Livonia Franklin High School Patriots athletic events for over 30 years, greeting friends and visitors with a smile as she sold tickets. She was known as "Mrs. Patriot".

Her character and spirit were fully demonstrated by the way she served her family and friends. She was constantly giving. Whether it was her time, her strength, her smile, her kind words, or that never ending cookie supply. She never left Dan’s side while he was ill. She was a natural born caretaker and an absolute saint.

Mere words cannot do her spirit justice. She will be eternally missed.

Jolene's family will receive guests on Friday, October 27, 2023 from 4pm until 8:00pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 Six Mile Road, Livonia, MI 48152.
