Tom Skorka

Thomas Michael Skorka age 75 of Plymouth, MI passed away on November 8, 2021 at St. Mary's Hospital in Livonia. Tom was born on May 18, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan to his parents: Alveria (Balicki) and Thaddeus Skorka.

Beloved husband of the late Christine L. Skorka. Loving father of Paul Skorka, Keri Skorka (Ray Cox), step-daughter Gwen (Scott) Magnan and step-son Jeff Cirbes. Cherished grandfather of Samantha, Sydney, Mckenna, Michael, John and Brady. Adored great grandfather of Cathrine. Dearest brother of the late Diane (Mike) Buckley.

Tom graduated from Cathedral Central High School in Detroit in 1964. He joined the Navy after graduation and served for two years. After his time in the service, he started his career as a Machinist at General Motors, and retired after 40+ years. In his free time he enjoyed golf and being an active member of Ward Presbyterian Church in Livonia. Tom will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Sunday November 14, 2021 from 3:00PM until 8:00PM with a funeral service to begin at 7:00PM at Harry J Will Funeral Home in Livonia. A private burial will take place at Parkview Memorial Cemetery.
