Dear Gwen, Deanna and David,

Sending sincere condolences to your family during this time of loss. I met Bill and the other fellows in the evening, November 8th, 2020 at the Retreat. Bill, Ernie, Ralph, and Steve, were watching TV in their living room, as I was getting my Dad's (Leonard's) belongings moved in to his room, and Mina was so kind. Leonard met up with these men the following morning. I felt so welcomed by all of these guys and her!
Since then, my fond memories of Bill are his curious-seeming eyes, and the way he would smile at me, (or not often, sadness) with them every time since! Over the months, Leonard took a fond appreciation of Bill also, and more than once I saw my dad checking just to make sure Bill was okay!

Gwen, I saw the Beyond Van Gogh exibition at the TCF on October 2nd, 2021. It was truly amazing in every sense! I hope you continue your swimming and painting. Rest in Peace Bill✝️, Love Leonard O. and his daughter Virginia

It is with sadness that I share the sympathy of Covenant House on the passing of Covenant House Michigan Founding Board Member, Bill Senatore. Bill was among the first board members who assisted greatly in the founding of Covenant House Michigan. He served on the board of Directors for10 years and then was followed by his son, David.
He supported Covenant House Michigan in many ways and as a board members helped save the lives of hundreds of homeless youth in Detroit. We pray for him and his family as he is welcomed home by our Lord.
