He was preceded in death by his parents, Novak and Milica Stojcevski; his beloved wife, Nada Stojcevski, whom he met in Macedonia and married in the 1970s. Together they shared many wonderful years until Nada’s passing on October 19, 2011. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Ljuba Milosavlevski.
Zlatko was a hardworking and dedicated businessman who made a lasting mark in the Detroit area. He owned and operated Proctor Bakery in Detroit and later owned The Donut Scene donut shops in Canton and Northville, which he ran successfully for many years. He retired in 2010, proud of the work he had built and the people he served.
Outside of work, Zlatko found his greatest joy in raising birds, especially pigeons, which was his lifelong passion. He loved all animals deeply, a trait his family felt truly defined the kind of person he was. He also cherished fond memories of trips up north with his family, moments filled with togetherness, laughter, and lasting bonds.
Zlatko was a longtime member of St. Petka Serbian Orthodox Church, where his faith and sense of community were an important part of his life.
He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, deep love for his family, quiet dedication, and the simple joys that brought him happiness. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
