Bruce Melick

Passed away peacefully at Parkwood Hospital on Friday, April 3rd, 2015 with his family by his side. Bruce was born February 17, 1925, son of Irvin and Elizabeth Melick. Rejoined with his wife Ellen after a brief time apart. Devoted father to; James Melick (Eileen), Robert Melick (Nancy), Diane Henderson (Paul) and Nancy Field (Tim). Proud and loving grandfather to Jeff, Bob, Bruce, Iva (Richard), Steven (Jacinta), Jennifer (Sean), Ryan (Jenny), Richele, Johnathan (Tamara), Amanda and Kristen (Corey). Great-grandfather to Sakada, Ryley, Ethan, Ashlin, Alivia, Jayce, Cohen, Mia, Taylor and Aliza. Brother to Muriel (predeceased), Keith Melick (Monica Allore) and Marie Bull (Don). Bruce will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and many friends. A Memorial Service will take place at Needham Funeral Service (520 Dundas St.) on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
