I was just thinking today about friendship in general. I met Bruce in 1970 at Otis Elevator. Although we lived for over 30 years 2,000 miles apart we always managed to stay in contact...at lease by snail mail and in later years via e mail.
In fact We were emailing each other the morning of his death. Thàt morning he had sent me a beautiful video of a man on a big fishing vehicle feeding hundreds of free bald eagles. I think it's appropriate one of his last e mails was about a free majestic animal.

Fly freely Bruce...where ever you are

we knew Bruce in the early 1970s when Bob worked with him in the Montreal office of Otis Elevator. We had lots of fun together including going to the winter carnival in Quebec City. Our sympathies to friends and family.
