Peacefully at McCormick Home on December 13, 2011, Daphne Irene Mary Southerst of London in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Southerst (1996) and loving partner of Ted Froats (2011). Loving mother of Lesley and Ron Barnes, Peter and Marja Southerst, John and Jenny Southerst and Lynn and Ron Clark. Dear grandmother of Christy (Lach), Jordan (Natalie), Danielle, David, Lee, Livvy, Jasmine (Mike) and Richelle. Great grandmother of Amanda, Ariel, Abby and Matthew. Daphne is also survived by her brother Cyril and sisters Maureen and Jill and their families in England. Visitation will be held in the Needham Funeral Home (520 Dundas St.) on Thursday from 4pm to 8 pm. A funeral service to celebrate Daphne’s life will be held in the St. Anne’s Church (Byron) (1344 Commissioners Rd W.) on Friday December 16, 2011 at 1 pm with cremation to follow.
