John "David" Miller passed on August 5, 2026, peacefully at home and surrounded by his family. David is remembered and missed by Julie, his wife and best friend of more than 60 years, by Amanda (steve), Sean (Shawn and Cooper), and Jessica (Norman)- and by Tortoiseshell cat Macaroni, who kept vigil ny David's side in the final week of David's side.
Through his 97 years David lived with quiet warmth and authenticity. His dry wit was unrivaled and many of his one-liners found their way into family lore and everyday expressions, together with nicknames he bestowed on those closest to him. We will carry forward the humour, kindness and generosity that came so naturally to him.
