

Doris, aged 97, passed away in her sleep on February 16, 2018, five days short of her 98th birthday, at Henley Place where she had resided since January 2014.
Doris was born in Westminster Township, the fifth child of John and Emma (Watcher) Chivers.
Her siblings predeceased her and were, Percy (Pete) 1988, Bernice (Bunny) Collings 1992, Eula Jones 1996 and Harry 1950.
Doris was married to Earl Stokley and they had one daughter, Pat, who died of Spina Bifida in 1969. Earl died in 1987. (RCNVR, active duty, WWII). Doris's second husband, Cyril Kensit passed away in 2005 (RCAF, Active Duty WWII).
Doris is survived by in-laws Ron and Bev Stokley, Elizabeth "Bet" Stokley, and Bill Kensit, a stepson living in B.C. and a step-daughter-in-law, Jean Kensit in Calgary as well as several step grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, and great grandnieces and nephews and many cherished friends.
Doris was a member of the RCAF Association #427 and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #317 and enjoyed many happy hours with friends there.
Doris worked at Canada Trust Company, Real-estate Department, in London for 18 years.
We thank the entire staff, especially those who work at Harris Park for their outstanding and loving care given to Doris while she was with them in Henley Place.
Doris was very fond of Mary-Fay Green, a true friend and one that provided companionship and caring over the years.
The service will be held at Needham Funeral Service at 520 Dundas Street, London, details to be announced at a later time.
In memory of Doris, donations made to the Spina Bifida Association or a Hydrocephalus Association of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
