I met Dorothy after being introduced by my son, Jason. We lived in the Berkshire area at the time and both my son and Dorothy were out walking their Rottweiler dogs. Jason was invited to her home and also met her husband, granddaughter Terri and son Les. I was welcomed into their home when Teri was visiting her grandma and our friendship was sealed. I visited her often later at her apartment on baseline and only twice at Carressant Care before covid took over our freedom. I will always cherish her kind and thoughtful ways. She spoke of Ray often and the love they shared over the years. May they both Rest In Peace. ❤️

Terry and Darlene Pollock

Terry is the son of Kirk Pollock of The Royal Rifles in Hong Kong (1917-1988)His wife,Dorothy, died in 2006. They attended many Hong Kong Reunions over the years. Both knew your mom and dad.Kirk lived in Glen Levit NB when he went to war but lived in Broadlands, Quebec after marriage. We heard their names spoken of often. Terry’s mom told us of Terri Clark’s musical career.
So many men suffered in The Battle of Hong Kong ,the camps ,and after returning. It is sad that history doesn’t tell their story well.
We have just learned of Mrs. Sauson’s passing. Our
condolences are sent to all family members.
