Elsie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Glen Albert Steels, and her son Eric White(Kathryn). She leaves behind her two cherished children, Roger(Sherry) and Pamela. She loved her grandchildren Elsa(Paul), Kristine, Elizabeth, Robert(Annie), Ryan and Steven(Cassie). Great-grandchildren Brianna, Benjamin, Brady, Grayson, Michaela, Audrey and Bennett. Along with many dear friends and extended family who will miss her humour, wit and generous spirit.
A proud member of the Shriners Club and the Daughters of the Nile. She also gave her time selflessly as a long-time volunteer at St. Joseph’s Hospital, where she touched the lives of many with her kindness and compassion.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th at 11:00 AM at Needham Funeral Service, 520 Dundas St, London, ON followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who knew Elsie to donate to Humane Society London & Middlesex and the Shriners Children's Hospital.
