He was born Italy, where he trained as a master carpenter before immigrating to Canada in 1963. He enjoyed sports, especially soccer and bocce, gardening and spending time with his family and friends. He was a proud member of the Marconi Club of London
Erasmo is predeceased by his parents Antonio and Nicolina and his beloved siblings.
Erasmo leaves behind his devoted wife, Antonia, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and partnership. His children lovingly remember him, Joanne (Dan) and Antonio (Caroline). He was a proud and cherished Nonno to Christina (Bobby), Victoria (AJ), Joseph, Leonardo, Shannon (Wes) and Mark (Kate). Great grandfather to Kyle, Sam, Dylan, Gwen, Finn and Nash.
A visitation will be held at Needham Funeral Service Thursday, August 7th, 2025, with visiting hours from 3:00–5:00 p.m. and 6:00–8:00 p.m.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church Friday, August 8th, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
The family kindly asks that donations be made to the Hearing Foundation of Canada.
Erasmo will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace.
