Frances Mae Klahsen

KLAHSEN, Frances Mae (nee White)- Beloved wife of Dr. Abraham Klahsen passed away on July 31st, 2016 in the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, just 3 days short of her 84th birthday. Born August 3, 1932 near Birr, Ontario to Richard Seymour and Mabelle Edna White. Mother to Ruth Klahsen, Peter Klahsen and his wife Pam Klahsen and Andrew Klahsen and his wife Donna Kolyn. Grandmother to Daniel Szoller, Benjamin Szoller, Nathan Klahsen and his wife Stephanie, Naomi Heeg and her husband Michael Heeg, Sarah Klahsen, Susanna Klahsen, Christian Baxter, Olena Klahsen and Matthew Klahsen. Great-grandmother to Joelle Klahsen, Michaela Klahsen, Caleb Klahsen, Isabel Heeg and Eli Heeg (deceased). Predeceased by her sister Edna Adams (nee White) and her husband Jack (John) Adams, brother Ronald White and his wife Anne White (nee Cameron) and her brother Neil White. Survived by sister-in-law Marian White, brother Ken White and his wife Helen White. She will be greatly missed by the family of Abraham Klahsen numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a nurse by profession who took her role as a mother full time and later became the administrator of her husband’s professional practice unit until his retirement. The great hope of the family can be summarized by the Biblical book of Jude verses 24 and 25: “Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” Visitation will be held on Sunday August 7th at Needham Funeral Service, 520 Dundas St., London, ON, N6B 1W6 from 2pm - 4pm and 7pm - 9pm. Funeral service will be held Monday August 8th at 11am at Berean Baptist Church, 932 Leathorne St. London, ON N5Z 3M5. A private burial will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Berean Baptist Church or the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation.
