For anyone who is interested I was sent five copies of Gerald's death certificate. His brother Mike or some other family member might want a copy. I can be reached at alcam14@hotmail.com I'm still waiting for the official cause of death from the coroner.  

Gerry was a one-of-a-kind guy.  He liked to tell stories of his life.  Some of them were really funny.  He liked to cook for his friends,  Gerry will be well missed by all of his friends including me.  Gerry was a very kind soul and very generous.  One time I was out of groceries and Gerry came over and brought me groceries.  He loved his music more than TV.   

Jerry and I have been friends for about 16 years. We rented a car and went to a Toronto Blue Jay game at Skydome.  Jerry liked baseball. It was a bit stressful finding a place to park and finding our way out of Toronto but we did it. We talked on the phone 5 to 6 days a week. He got me a family doctor and brought me food a few times. He gave me a flashlight made in China that doesn't need batteries you just have to pump this button on the side and it turns a turbine and it lights it up. I wasn't expecting this at all. I took this picture of him.

Gerry came to my place one time for supper.  We had honey-garlic chicken wings.  Gerry loved them and said they were his favourite food.  Like Bobbie (Ms), I felt Gerry was a mannerly, kind-hearted, and generous soul.  My condolences to all of you, and my blessings go out to you.

I was referred to Gerry to type his life story.  He completed his book.  I told him I would pick him up on Tuesday, April 23rd and we would go to the library to complete final touches on his book before it was printed and published.  I couldn't contact him.  On Wednesday, I heard the sad news of Gerry's passing.  Gerry was an honourable person.  It was a pleasure to work with him.  I will miss him very much.  Please accept my deepest sympathies.

Wow, so hard to come to realize you are gone bro.  We may have only met a handful of times, you were quiet and really down to earth, and easy to talk to.  wish we could have spent more time getting to know each other, but I cherish the time we had.  One memory I have is the ice rental I had and you threw on my skates and went out and shot a few pucks 🙂.
