It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jackie Bere on March 25th at Victoria Hospital in the ICU unit, London, Ontario. She left this world surrounded by love, leaving behind cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Jackie was a woman who, above all else, loved her family. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her daily phone calls, and always having a Coke on hand for anyone who stopped by.
She was the beloved partner of Robert Simpson for 36 years, a devoted mother to Kimberly (Steve), Kevin (Amy), Jeff (Tammy), and an honorary "Mom" to Justin. She was a loving grandmother to Paige (Karsyn), Brayden, Kylie, RJ, Lilly, and Austin. She was also a sister to Saundra (Hadley), Paul (Debbie), Doug (Debbie), Jane (Gord), Leah, and sister in law to Eileen(Jim). Jackie was a cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by Rita and Jack Tufford, Brother Evan, and Nephew John. Jackie’s presence brought warmth and joy to those around her, and her love for playing a Rousing game of Split Sevens or Euchre with Bob, her kids and or her brothers and sisters was her favorite time, going to the cottage each year to spend the week with her family was always her favorite by far!
A celebration of life will be held on April 12th at Needhams Funeral Home at 1pm-3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation in Jackie’s honour.
Jackie’s kindness, strength, and love will never be forgotten. May she rest in peace, knowing she was deeply loved.
